Question: And why is the kingdom of God theirs?

God’s answer:

I feed the poor.

“He hath filled the hungry with good things : and the rich he hath sent empty away.”

(Luke 1:43, from The Canticle of Mary)

Question: How would you describe the rich?

God’s answer:

Derelicts
They are sitting pretty. They are filled with worldly knowledge. They have no room for Me. Their bellies are full.

Meaning of derelict: “(Of a person) shamefully negligent in not having done what one should have done”⁶

Question: What do you mean by worldly knowledge?

God’s answer:

Everything this world teaches, including teachings about Me.

Question: What are they negligent of? What is it that they should be doing that they are not?

God’s answer:

They should listen to Me.

It is written: Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.

(Matthew 4:4)

Question: So, they won’t read this book?

God’s answer:

They have no curiosity.

Question: How about those who only read the book partially?

God’s answer:

They lack curiosity

Question: Can you please confirm?

God’s answer

Rich man, poor man
Wealth is in the eyes of the beholder.

Question: How will a rich man see this book?
